Søren Kierkegaard said:
"The most common form of despair is not being who you are".
Counseling is an active process that provides you with the opportunity to develop new insight, meaning, and understanding about yourself, as well as your experiences and relationships. It can help you discover, define, and embrace who you truly are.
Risa's specialty is caring for professional helpers who are living and working internationally, or whose work includes a cross-cultural component. She works with the professionals themselves, as well as their family members. Areas often addressed include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity, life-stage transitions, parenting, relationships, and self-care.
