Counseling perspective

Søren Kierkegaard said: "The most common form of despair is not being who you are".

Counseling is an active process that provides you with the opportunity to develop new insight, meaning, and understanding about yourself, as well as your experiences and relationships. It can help you discover, define, and embrace who God created you to be.

Who We Serve

Risa's specialty is caring for global workers and their families. This includes missionaries and pastors as well as NGO staff and volunteers. She also works with expatriates, post service/field workers, and adult TCKs. Areas often addressed include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity, life-stage transitions, parenting, relationships, self-care, and spirituality.
