Sometimes those of us who work as professional helpers need to take time to work on some of our own "stuff" in order to provide better care for those we serve. This group is an opportunity to take off your "helper hat" and grow your self-care skills and routine.
Seeking Safety is an evidence-based group curriculum for those who have experienced trauma or significant stressors and/or are engaging in unsafe coping behaviors. It is a structured, present-focused group (not a process group - participants do not need to tell their trauma story), aimed at making the present and future better than the past.
This group meets once a week for 10 weeks. An intake appointment with the facilitator is required prior to the first session.
